Our Mission
We created Southside Tutoring with the goal of combining a student-centered and scientificly supported approach to helping others learn. With postgraduate degrees in educational psychology and engineering, we value meeting students where they’re at, and using evidence based strategies to enhance learning. Our goal is not to just ‘teach’ students but rather to empower students by helping them learn in a way that suits them. We welcome students of all ages, genders, abilities, and neurotypes.

I got into tutoring through my work as a homework support person for autistic kids, where I lived for students having those "ah hah" moments when grasping a new concept. This inspired me to complete a master’s in educational psychology, and I’m now a provisional psychologist and a teacher at Monash University.
Outside of tutoring, I’m often outdoors, either playing basketball or heading out for surf and snowboard trips with friends. I bring a relaxed, personable approach to each session, aiming to create a space where learning feels comfortable and supported.

My love for tutoring started during university, where I found helping others succeed in their studies was not only fulfilling but also a great way to deepen my own understanding. As someone who’s always been passionate about math, computer science, and machine learning, I enjoy breaking down complex ideas into simple, relatable steps that make sense for each individual.
When I’m not tutoring, you’ll likely find me on the tennis court, out for a run, or tackling a new coding challenge. I bring the same focus and energy to tutoring as I do to my hobbies, creating a supportive environment where students feel confident and ready to learn.
